Wear it overnight only when the end remains fully seated, the post length suits the lobe and the piercing is calm. Skip it when there is a gap, unexplained tenderness, recent pin adjustment or any need to keep pressing the bezel back into place. A flat disc improves comfort. It cannot rescue a failing connection.
